Bingata is the name give to the cloth that is painted with multiple colors of paint. It has been traditionally made in Okinawa for the past 500 years. The painting technique itself was presumably introduced from southern China in the 14th century. Bingata was traditionally made for those who belong to the samurai-class and a royal family in the Ryukyu Kingdom.
	Our shop Bingata Kijimuna uses this painting technique for familiar fabric articles(coaster, mini bag,T-shirt,fabric etc). You can see and buy them in our shop(BINGATA products :\250~).
